πŸŒ… Rise and Shine for Success: Crafting Your Morning Routine in Times of Transition πŸŒ…

Life threw me a curveball when I got laid off in July and it can certainly be very tempting to hit the Snooze button over and over or spend the day vegging in front of Netflix when you don't have to get to work, but I have found that implementing a morning routine has kept me anchored during this time of uncertainty.

Research shows that a structured morning routine can boost productivity, increase positivity, and provide a sense of control – all of which are crucial elements during your job search journey. It’s no secret that most successful people begin their day with an early morning routine.

Someone recently recommended that I check out
Hal Elrod's The Miracle Morning. If you aren’t familiar, his morning routine is 1 hour, spending ten minutes each in S.A.V.E.R.S.

S- Silence/ Meditation
A- Affirmations
V- Visualizations
E- Exercise
R- Reading
S- Scribing/ Writing

While I do not follow the Miracle Morning to a T, I have found that making it uniquely mine by incorporating the activities that most resonate with me has been helpful in setting the tone for day ahead for a productive job hunt.

So, rise, shine, and make your mornings matter, my friends!
